• Q: I pressed the WPS button. Now I cannot connect to my wireless network because my network is suddenly WPA secured and i don’t know the key. What can I doä
• A:

  The WPS button is to secure the router by the push of the button. Read the manual carefully to know how it works.

  You can solve this in the following ways:

  1. Connect the computer to the router using a network cable and surf to http://192.168.3.1/. Login with password mysweex and click on the left on “WPS Settings”. Here you can disable WPS again.
  2. Keep the reset button at the back of the router pressed for 20 seconds. This will bring the router back to it’s factory default settings with an unsecured network. You can now reconnect to the router and reconfigure it.
• Q: My older 11Mbps 802.11b WiFi devices no longer work. How can i still use these with this router
• A: 802.11b support is turned off by default, to turn it on go to http://192.168.3.1/ (password: mysweex), next click "Basic Settings" on the left under Wireless and change the 802.11 Mode to "802.11b/g/n". Click "Apply Changes" to apply the new settings.
• Q: How can i make my router as fast as possibleä
• A:

  This is possible by turning off support for older WiFi devices. You can do this as follows: Go to http://192.168.3.1/ (password: mysweex) and click "Basic Settings" on the left under wireless. Apply the following settings:

  • 802.11 Mode: 802.11n Only
  • GF  Only:    Enabled
  • Extension channel protection mode: None

  Click "Apply Changes".

  Next click "Advanced Settings" on the left and apply the following settings:

  • A-MSDU Aggregation: Enabled
  • Preamble Type: Short Preamble

  Click "Apply Changes".
  Please note! You can now only use the router with other Sweex 802.11n 300Mbps devices.

• A: You can do this as follows: Go to http://192.168.3.1/ (password: mysweex) and click "Basic Settings" on the left under wireless. Next change the Channel Number to "Auto" and the Channel Mode to "20MHz". Klick "Apply Changes" to apply the new settings.
